Here we have our 12kg parasol base. With a durable and tough black resin coating and a solid concrete filling, this base will help to give some much needed support to your new wooden garden parasol. At Parasols Direct we would always recommend the use of a suitable parasol base to make sure you parasol has adequate support, the unpredictable UK weather can be a little unreliable and we wouldn’t want any unwanted accidents to happen.

With its durable resin coating and metal central tube, these bases are built to cope with the great outdoors and will last for many years to come. The central metal tube has a couple of small plastic inserts which are added or removed depending on the size of the parasol pole you have. The adapters will fit either a 38mm or 48mm diameter pole to give the stability needed, there is also a small thumb screw on the tube that tightens against the parasol pole to help hold it in place.

With any parasol we would always recommend the use of a suitable base, if you so desire to ever use your parasol freestanding and not through a suitable table top then we would suggest you utilise our heavier 25kg bases for all different sizes of parasol to give the support required.
