Our manufacturer has been constructing our garden furniture all of their lives and we have worked closely with them fine tuning designs and products so that we can bring you the best quality garden furniture in Brighton. Using mainly traditional joinery methods to construct our teak furniture ensures that not only are you getting something that looks absolutely stunning but is constructed to be both strong and long lasting. We ensure the use of other metals and plastics is kept to an absolute minimum so giving you the best quality garden furniture that will cope with whatever the inclement UK weather will throw its way.

At Ottena the timber we source for all of our garden furniture ranges only ever comes from sustainable sources. The forests and plantations that we source our timber from are strictly controlled and monitored to ensure the timber they produce is harvested legally and is sustainable. The teak that we use comes from Javanese plantations that are controlled under the SVLK certification scheme. This strict certification scheme is in place to ensure the legitimacy of the teak we use and ensures it is harvested legally. To help give a little back we have recently introduced a tree planting scheme that will plant a tree for every order that you place with us here at Ottena.

Eco Furniture

Making sure we are as “eco” as we possibly can be is very important to not only us as a company but to the ongoing protection of our planet and environment. At Ottena we are always looking at the ways we operate and run our business and always want to be doing everything in our powers to be as eco as we can be. To help with this the timber that we use is only ever sourced from sustainable sources coming from plantations and forests that are controlled to ensure the timber harvested is both legal and sustainable. Recently we have introduced through tree nation a tree planting scheme that on your behalf will plant a tree for every order that you place with us here at Ottena. I am sure you will agree this is a fantastic way of giving a little back and helping to preserve our forests and plantations for future generations.

When we send our garden furniture in Brighton orders we always want to be sure they are properly protected. With our regular sized orders and items we use a mixture of cardboard and bubble wrap to protect them whilst in transit. We appreciate that bubble wrap is not necessarily the most eco but the wrap we use is partly made from recycled material and is also 100% recyclable once not needed anymore. For our larger items and orders we send these on a pallet delivery service which helps to reduce the amount of packaging that we need to use whilst in transit to you.
